Backer Surveys Going Out!

First off, happy holidays to everyone! I hope everyone is having a good holiday season. :) 

Kickstarter funds have finally been processed and we're ready to send out surveys and start getting counts. We sent out a smoke test a few minutes ago, so a small handful of you should be getting the survey first. If there are any issues with your survey, please let me know right away so that I may fix it before I send out the surveys for everyone else. For everyone else, surveys should be going out later today, so keep an eye out!

We are using BackerKit as our pledge manager. If you're unfamiliar with BackerKit, it is a tool that allows us to send out surveys, collect counts for ordering, and allow us to collect shipping info and fees. You'll also be taken through our add on store, where you can purchase additional rewards and even choose from some of our past rewards. 

We encourage our backers to fill out their survey as soon as possible, as this allows us to get our counts for ordering. It's important that we get as accurate a number as possible to make sure we order enough for all of the rewards. 

If you have any questions, send me a message. I will be taking some time for the holidays to spend with family, so I may be slower to respond, but I'll do my best.

Project funded!

Our project was successfully funded and has now ended! I want to thank each and every one of you for making this possible. I am so excited for the new pin designs!

So, what happens now, you may ask? If you are new to my campaigns, not to worry, for I shall break it all down for you!

Between now and the next two weeks, funds will be collected and processed. If there are any errors in your card info, you will have these two weeks to update your card on file. If for any reason you are unable to charge your card before that time, you can update your payment method in the survey period later. 

Speaking of surveys, we will be using BackerKit as our pledge manager for the post-campaign processing. This is where we will collect shipping info, calculate shipping costs, and let you make your reward selections or any changes to your pledge. Missed an add on you wanted to get? You can make additional purchases to add to your pledge in BackerKit. 

Once the two week processing period has completed and the funds are available to me, production will start approximately one week after surveys have been sent. I encourage everyone to fill out their surveys as quickly as possible, as this will allow me to get accurate counts for ordering. Once I know how much of everything to order, production will begin promptly. 

Because of the holidays, there may be some delays in production, which I anticipate and have reflected in the my estimated shipping time. We should be on track for an early spring delivery.

New Bookmark Design + Fan Samples

Happy Holidays to everyone, I hope everyone is well! This update is slightly delayed because of turkey day here in the US (and anyone that knows me knows I take my favorite food related holiday very seriously) as well as having just returned from New York City for Anime NYC. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hi! 

I'm happy to announce that a new octopus bookmark has been added by request, so that will be available as an add on from here onward. 

I'm also really happy to announce that I've received samples of the fans and they look gorgeous. I used some different designs as these will become available in my shop soon, but needless to say we're really excited with how they turned out. 

The turnaround for fans and bookmarks will be a lot quicker than the enamel pins, so for those who are just purchasing add ons will likely receive their rewards in January to February. We produce the metal bookmarks ourselves via sublimation and the fans are a lot easier for our manufacturing partner to produce than pins, so they'll be ready pretty quickly both to ship and available in my shop. So if you don't have a chance to get your favorite add ons now, they will be available later!

That's it for now. We're wrapping up our small campaign soon. Once the campaign ends, there will be a two week period for processing payments. Once this has finished, everyone will receive a survey from BackerKit to fill out your address, collect shipping fees based on your pledge, and select your rewards.

New Rewards Added and Stretch Goals Hit!

As some of you may have noticed, we added four new enamel pin designs and two new fan designs to the campaign! The new pins have already been unlocked and available to add on to your pledge. We've also added on another reward tier for 12 pins, enough to cover one of each type of pin. 

We had lots of requests for sharks (I don't know how I missed making a pin in the first place, I happen to love sharks!) so we added two types of sharks! We also added an Orca, by popular request of my mother who insisted there needed to be an Orca.

As I said before, all of these have already been unlocked. Additional rewards may be added later if there are any popular requests, but for the time being I may be slow to respond as I am preparing for Anime NYC at Artist Alley Booth #C18, so if you're in the area come stop by and say hi!

I just want to start off by thanking you all for your support. It means so much to me that people want to support my projects and my creative endeavors. We were funded in less than 10 minutes, and we hit all of our stretch goals within a few hours. With a month still to go in the campaign, this means there's plenty of room for additional rewards to be added.

We've already had some great suggestions for new pin and fan ideas. If you have any ideas that you'd love to see me bring to life, please feel free to comment below! I will likely be adding 1-2 more fan designs and 3-5 more enamel pins. I'm also happy to take any suggestions for additional products that are not listed, and if we do decide to add new rewards I'll take a poll to find out which ideas everyone loves the most.
